Edwin Kutzli Obituary
He was born on March 22, 1928, to Reuel and Tena (DeVries) Kutzli in Walker, Michigan.
Ed proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He spent time in Hawaii and Pearl Harbor during his service. Ed enjoyed running his gas stations and automotive shops as well as working at the Sparta Foundry for many years.
Ed is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Phyllis Lorraine (Rolston) Kutzli; children, Glenda (Steve Oneal) Momber, Dan Momber, Conrad (Carol) Kutzli, Lanny Kutzli, Keith (Kris) Kutzli, Brant (Brenda) Kutzli; grandchildren, Holly (Brian) Momber-McNeela, Chad Momber, Heather Chapin, Russ (Jenelle) Kutzli, Racheal (Jason) Waters, Cameron (Carrie) Kutzli, Calan (Jing) Kutzli, Riley (Alesha) Kutzli, Reece (Alyssa) Kutzli, Tasha (Andy) Nagy, Mason Kutzli, Olivia Lacy; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; siblings, Margaret Stuhler, William Kutzli, Gary Kutzli, La Donna Larson, Linda Campbell, Lynn (Rosanne) Kutzli, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Reuel and Tena (DeVries) Kutzli; siblings, Tom, Clarence, Jean, Evelyn, Dorothy, and Racheal.
A Celebration of Life for Ed will take place starting at 1:00PM with a Military Honors Ceremony on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the VFW Post #4249 in Newaygo, 9075 Mason Dr., Newaygo MI 49337. Lunch will follow.
Those wishing to offer an expression of sympathy are encouraged to make a Memorial Donation in Ed's honor to the Second Amendment Foundation, Attn: Development, 12500 NE 10th Pl. Bellevue, WA 98005.
