Efrem Zembely Andrews, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away on August 2, 2025, in his hometown of Augusta, Georgia. He was born on February 18, 1971, in Augusta, where he spent his days filled with laughter and service to others.
Efrem was known for his warm spirit and his genuine kindness. A man who loved cracking jokes, he had a remarkable ability to keep his family smiling and laughing, casting a light that brightened even the darkest of days. He was an incredibly kindhearted person, always eager to lend a hand to his family, ensuring they felt supported and loved. His passion for cars and motorcycles often fueled his spirited conversations, and he enjoyed sharing those interests with his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his three loving children, Shaquan Andrews, Shaquera Sealy, and Shandisa Sealy. His legacy continues through their lives, shaped by the love and laughter he imparted. Efrem is also survived by his brothers, Carl Andrews, Richard Andrews, and Antwan Andrews, and his sisters, Myra Moss and Vanessa Mungo, along his brother-in-laws, Lecala Mungo and Thomas Moss, and special friend, Ms. Karen Johnson. The bonds of love within his family are a testament to the warmth that he carried and shared.
He joins in eternal rest his dear parents, Oblee and Lucille Andrews, both of whom provided him guidance and love throughout his life. He is also reunited with his daughter, Shanquia Andrews, and his sister, Valeria Douglas, whose absence he felt deeply.
The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Efrem's extraordinary life during a Visitation to be held at C.A.
