Juanita Prescott, a cherished soul born on November 22, 1953, in the vibrant city of Augusta, Georgia, departed from this earthly realm on August 4, 2025. Her life, though measured in years, was abundant with love, kindness, and an unwavering spirit that touched all those fortunate enough to know her.
Juanita’s journey was one defined by not only her deep-rooted connection to her birthplace but also by her exceptional ability to forge lasting relationships with family and friends. Her presence infused warmth into every gathering, and her laughter became synonymous with joyous moments shared amongst her loved ones.
As we reflect upon the legacy that Juanita has left behind, we find comfort in the knowledge that her influence will resonate through the lives she has shaped. A visitation to honor this extraordinary woman will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at the C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, Georgia, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Family, friends, and community members are invited to come together to celebrate her life and share fond memories.
The subsequent day, Saturday, August 16, 2025, will mark the funeral service at the same location, commencing at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM. This will be a time for heartfelt remembrance, where stories will be exchanged and faces adorned with smiles will give tribute to the love that Juanita bestowed upon each of us. Following the service, she will embark on her final journey to Walker Memorial Park, where interment will take place at 12:15 PM.
Juanita Prescott leaves behind a legacy rich in compassion and an indelible imprint upon the hearts she has touched. As we gather to celebrate her life, let us carry forward her spirit of kindness and resilience, continuously inspired by her memory. May she rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love she so generously shared.
