On November 30, 2024, Eileen Faye Clark flew home with Jesus after a long fight with dementia.
Eileen was born on February 19, 1937, in Farmington, NM to Leslie Clark and Martha Colbert Clark. Her sister, Irmalee, joined the family 4 years later. The summer of 1943, they relocated to Albuquerque, NM and she lived there until 2014, when she returned to Farmington to live with Irmalee, who cared for her until her death.
Eileen graduated from Alburquerque High and attended Browning Secretarial School before working at Dillards Dept. store, and for several doctors. She ended her career at the New Mexico Heart Hospital. She faithfully attended Temple Baptist Church as one of its founding members. Eileen loved Jesus and we celebrate that she is whole, happy and healthy with Him.
Eileen is preceded in death by her parents, and multiple aunts and uncles. She is survived by her sister, Irmalee Leach of Farmington, and nieces Kara Ashbaugh (Bryan) of Edgewood, and Laura Quiroz (Ismael) of Picayune, Mississippi; 8 great nephews and 1 great niece, and 9 great-great nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being made through Alternative Choice Funeral Home in Farmington, and graveside service will be planned later this coming year at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Joy Junction in Albuquerque. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Eileen, please visit our Tree Store.
