Eileen Shirley Ivancic

We announce the peaceful passing of Eileen Shirley Ivancic, who left us on November 7, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on September 5, 1934, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Mary (née Unetic) Cichon, Eileen was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Eileen's life was defined by love and devotion, beginning with her cherished husband of 59 years, Frank Ivancic, who preceded her in death in 2015. The couple cultivated a warm and loving home during their many years in Lake County.

Eileen was a woman of kindness, laughter, compassion, and unwavering resilience. She filled her life with the joy of simple pleasures that brought her happiness. She dedicated her time to family, and her personal interests of singing, acting, and golfing. Her spirit will live on in the memories and stories shared by her family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Shirley Ivancic Stall and Cathy Ivancic. Eileen was a loving grandmother to Jennifer (Manny) Nieves, Matthew (Eliette) Stall, and Gregory Stall, and a proud great-grandmother to Manny and Danny. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Joanne Ivancic, and leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.

Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and her sisters, Laverne (Frank) Hlebak and Betty (John) Veneskey.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremation, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Eileen Ivancic on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Noel's Church, 35200 Chardon Rd., Willoughby Hills, Ohio.

Internment will be at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Twp., Ohio.
