Eileen Marie Lynn, a resident of Harrison Township, Michigan, passed away in her home on April 27, 2021 after a courageous battle against Breast cancer.  She was 76 years old, born on December 11, 1944 to the late George and Marie (Moeller) Forest.  She graduated from Servite High School in Detroit with the Class of 1963.  On July 20, 1968, she married David F. Lynn and together they have 2 children and have enjoyed 52 years of loving marriage.
Eileen worked in several secretarial and administrative assistance positions over her lifespan including AAA, the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel, RG & GR Harris Funeral Home in Detroit, and Mount Clemens General Hospital.  She served as a Girl Scout leader for her daughter's troop and enjoyed working with the girls to have fun while learning new skills.
She was an active member of several organizations, including Amway and Network21, Daughters of Isabella, Optimists, National Association of Career  Women (NACW), and various local networking groups because she always enjoyed meeting new people.  She was active with several ministries with St. Peter's Church.  She could often be found reading, putting together puzzles, bird watching, partaking in arts and crafts, gardening, sewing, trying out new recipes, and spending time with her friends and family.
Over the years, Eileen enjoyed traveling to many places including camping trips with family & friends, vacations to Hawaii, a cruise to the Caribbean, and multiple trips to Florida, Georgia & Washington DC as well as a trip to Europe to explore the sites with family.
She will be dearly missed by her husband David, children Christopher (Marcy) Lynn and Melissa (David) Gutierrez, grandchildren Alex, Frank, Maria, Christina, Elizabeth, and Claire, brother John (Judy) Forest, sister Maryanne (Lee) Durnell, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.  She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held in the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main Street, Mt. Clemens, MI on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary service being held at 7:00.  When in attendance, we kindly ask that all guests wear a face covering and practice social distancing for the safety and well-being of the family and our staff.  Although everyone is welcome to visit, current Health Department ordinances limit 25 people at the funeral home (at the same time).  Please be mindful of other guests wishing to pay their respects.  A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, Mt. Clemens on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. (instate 11:00). Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to Hospice of Michigan or St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Peter Catholic Church.

I am so so sorry for your loss. I will miss seeing Eileen at church and at Scout events. She was always ready with a smile and always gave a lot of support to people around her..... even if that meant eating Pizza to raise funds for Girl Scouts building Bat houses. She will be missed
