Gregory Michael Krantz of Harrison Township, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, only five days after celebrating his 76th birthday. He was born on August 16, 1949 in Mt. Clemens, MI to his late parents George and Thelma (Babbitt) Krantz. He was the beloved husband for over 40 years to the late Linda M. Krantz, who preceded him in death on April 7, 2020.

Greg was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying many days and nights in the sounds and sights of comforting nature. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling to the next home-cooked meal on the campfire. He often painted many Bob Ross inspired landscapes of various outdoor scenes, and entertained family and friends by playing his acoustic guitar. He cherished his family greatly, and he will be deeply missed by all.

He is survived by his children Margaret (Dave) Crell, Corey Goodwill, Angelina (Pedro) Torres, Michana Krantz, and daughter-in-law Stacy Krantz, grandchildren Ryan, Emma, Michelle, Samantha, Christopher, Taylor, Hunter, Jalen and Dakota, great-grandchild Pierce, siblings George (Penny) Krantz, Brenda (Ted) Rabaja, and Ruth (Lorie Ortiz) Krantz, and sister-in-law Mary Krantz. Besides his parents and his wife, Greg is preceded in death by his dear son Gregory Krantz Jr., parents-in-law Marie and Jim Goodwill, brother Harvey Krantz, and sister Mary Ann Paye.
