Eileen Rensing Obituary

She was born December 3, 1932 in Albers, the daughter of the late Henry and Josephine (Bahlmann) Norrenberns. She married Jerome H. Rensing on June 2,1954. He preceded her in death on September 16, 1986.
Surviving are five children: Wanda (Kent) Breuer of Belleville, Geralyn (Bob) Voellinger of Belleville, Mary (Todd) Volkmar of New Baden, Tom Rensing of Albers and Lisa (Brian) Dumstorff of Breese; thirteen grandchildren: Kent Breuer, Christopher Breuer, Jason (Jenny) Breuer, Melissa (Andy) Joost, Bobby (Sarah) Voellinger, Justin Robinson, Jamie (Greg) Brunnworth, Sydne (Ryan Voss) Rensing, TJ Rensing, Devin (Caitlyn Sellers) Rensing, Jacob (Mikaela Kues) Dumstorff, Maci Dumstorff and Holly Dumstorff; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Eberle, sisters & brothers-in-law, Shirley Norrenberns, Joan Wiegman, Ralph & Jenny Rensing, Audrey Ostermeier and many nieces and nephews.
Eileen was a devoted, lifelong member of St. George Catholic Church in New Baden, as well as the Ladies Sodality and the Women of the Moose Lodge in Mascoutah. She loved playing bingo, euchre, Uno and rummy with her grandchildren. With a kind heart and a constant smile, Eileen was known for her warm demeanor. She treasured spending time with family and always enjoyed having them visit. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
The family will be present at the entrance to St. George Catholic Church on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 9-10:45 a.m. to receive guests. A memorial mass will follow at 11 a.m. with burial at Resurrection Cemetery in New Baden. Following the committal service, there will be a celebration of life at the New Baden American Legion.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or charity of your choice & will be received at the church or at Kalmer Memorial Services, PO Box 254, Lebanon IL 62254.
