St. John Funeral Home - BainbridgeEileen Sheptak of Chagrin Falls, OH, was called home on October 17, 2025 at age 79. She was blessed with 56 years of marriage to her devoted husband Rick and also leaves behind her children Tracey Fenolio (the late John) and Dale (Lea), grandchildren Christy Fenolio, Olivia (Nathan) Lifsey and Bronwyn Sheptak (Cody Gould), great-granddaughter Essie Jeanne Lifsey, and her beloved nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, Eileen moved to New York at age 18 and met Rick a few years later. They fell in love quickly and married after 9 months and honeymooned in Niagara Falls. They lived in several places while Rick was active in the Navy and met cherished friends wherever they went. Eileen was wonderful about maintaining those friendships over many years, no matter where life took her. The family moved to the United Kingdom for 10 years and enjoyed many wonderful times with her family and the many special friends they met. Eileen enjoyed her work there as a legal secretary. After returning to the United States, the Sheptaks lived in Michigan before finally settling in the Cleveland, OH area where Eileen retired from a long career at JC Penney. She was devoted to her family and her greatest joy was being a Nana. Eileen also loved her annual trips to Scotland to spend time with family and friends and going to Playhouse Square for musicals. Eileen is predeceased by her parents, Owen and Lily (nee Ross) Clark, her siblings and their spouses, Mary (William) Roberton, Patricia (David) Walker and John (Hazel) Clark. Friends and family will be received at ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 16381 CHILLICOTHE RD., CHAGRIN FALLS, OH 44023, SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1 FROM 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. with a closing service at 1 P.M.
