Eileen St. Angelo (Pingitore) 92, of Cranston passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday August 17th, 2025. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Rosaria (Fusaro) Pingitore. She was the devoted wife for 61 years of Astillodore "Jerry" St. Angelo until his passing in 2017. They would have been married 69 years.

Eileen is survived by her beloved children; daughters Roseann A. LiBassi and husband Mark, Eileen F. Renaud and husband Ronald, Jerilynn A. Lombardi and husband John and one son, Gerald A. St. Angelo and wife Melissa. Proud grandmother of Brandon LiBassi, Shana Wicklund, Glenn LiBassi, Marisa Vicario, Ronald N. Renaud II, Stephen Lombardi, Matthew Lombardi, Toni-Marie Achilli, Gerald A. St. Angelo, Jr., Victoria St. Angelo, Katerina St. Angelo and nine great-grandchildren, Weston Wicklund, Walker Wicklund, Wade Wicklund, Francesca Vicario, Hailey Renaud, Giulia Lombardi, Anthony Achilli, Lucia Achilli and Christian Achilli. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was known to family and friends alike as "Auntie"

Eileen was the last surviving sibling of 11 children. She was the sister of the late Pasquale, Ernest, Dante, Joseph Pingitore, Jr., Edward and Raymond Pingitore, Christina Amadeo, Cecelia Scichilone and Dorothy Pingitore.

Eileen was employed in her early years at Browne & Sharpe, later worked for New England Telephone Company/ Marriott food and beverage services and retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was a truly devoted, dedicated and selfless caregiver to her husband. She was an amazing cook and baker, always in the kitchen preparing something special as she loved being surrounded by her family. Eileen was an eternal optimist encouraging all to have a positive attitude and never give up. She was a great listener who provided a support system for friends, family and extended family. As a faithful religious friend, she visited shut-in parishioners from St. Rocco's Church.

Her funeral and visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd from 9 a.m - 11 a.m.at "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in St. Rocco Church, Johnston. Burial will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to HopeHealth Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105 would be greatly appreciated.
