Elaine Brenneman Obituary
Elaine was born on October 21, 1948, in Syracuse and graduated from Auburn's Mt. Carmel High School in 1966. A woman of remarkable curiosity, Elaine had a true zest for life. She loved music, art, and reading, and was a whiz at Bunco. She was a passionate advocate for animal welfare and found joy in nurturing her garden. Elaine's delicious cooking, infectious laugh, and playful spirit made her the center of any gathering. Her motto, "Got to keep moving," was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Elaine will be deeply missed by her sons, Dr. Mark Albert (Dr. Andrea) Murmer of Melbourne, FL, and Aaron Karl (Shannon) Murmer of Seneca Falls, N.Y. She is also survived by her partner of 47 years, Jerome Spina of Geneva, and her sister, Carole Anne Brenneman of Charlotte, NC. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Catherine Brenneman.
At Elaine's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. The family extends their gratitude to the caring staff at Geneva General Hospital and Geneva Living Center North.
