Elaine Maribel Martinez

Elaine Maribel Martinez, age 19, of Sudan, Texas, died Wednesday, April 17, 2024 in Lamb County. She was born April 12, 2005 in Levelland, Texas to Jesus and Esmeralda (Martinez) Martinez.
Elaine graduated from Sudan High School in 2023. She was attending South Plains College, for Social Work. She was highly intelligent, and loved to learn. Elaine enjoyed sports, especially basketball. She loved fashion and big sunglasses. She always gave her best and was a light, everywhere she went. Elaine was very giving and gentle, and inspired so many who knew her. She was a huge fan of Hello Kitty and big bows. Elaine loved the Lord so much and talked to God on a regular basis. Elaine also loved her dog, Gabino, whom she called her baby. She was a member of Trinity Church Fellowship in Littlefield. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Tereso Martinez.
Elaine is survived by her parents, Jesus and Esmeralda Martinez of Sudan, Texas; her sister, Yahaira Martinez of Sudan, Texas; her two brothers, Angel Martinez of Sudan, Texas and Josh Cervera of Sudan, Texas; and her grandparents, Blas Martinez of Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Nohemi and Gregorio Cervera of Morton, Texas, and Maribel Olvera Palacios of Estado de Mexico.
