Elaine C. Moore, 75, passed away on July 1, 2025. She was born on October 1, 1949 the daughter of the late Lyle and Opal McCombs. Elaine enjoyed her 57 Chevy and many other classic cars. In her younger years she would enjoy her sewing and quilting groups. She also enjoyed bird watching especially cardinals and hummingbirds. Elaine had a green thumb bringing forth a beautiful rose garden transforming her home into the beauty of nature and the warmth of her heart. She was a woman of faith and was always willing to help others. She will always be remembered for her quick wit, sense of humor, and the love she had in her heart for family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Jason Moore; and brother Arthur McCombs.
Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Carl A. Moore; son Kevin Moore; siblings Linda (Charles) Bendetta, Elaine's twin brother Duane McCombs, Leon (Shelly) McCombs, Christopher McCombs; her special Welch Springer Spaniel, Patsy; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00pm, Sunday, August 3rd, at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where memorial services will be held at 2:00pm.
