Elaine Moyer

Elaine Moyer of South Boston passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at the age of 87. She was born in Island Falls, Maine on October 2, 1937 to the late Frazier Botting and Pearl McNelly Botting.

Elaine was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. Elaine enjoyed spending time with her five daughters and her grandchildren. She was active in her church, Arbor Baptist Church. She loved cake decorating, baking, snowmobiling, and camping at "Pair O Dice". She was famous for her big holiday meals.

She is survived by her husband Richard H. Moyer; daughters, Monica Moyer, Coralie Smith, Lynette Moyer, Lisa Wieder (Scott) and Hope Crozier (Tom); sister, Nadine Botting Bates; brother, Victor Botting; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Arbor Baptist Church with Reverend Larry Davis officiating.
