Elaine M. Ollivett

Elaine Mary Ollivett, 88, of Hyde Park, NY, died on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at home in the care and company of her beloved husband of 69 years and close family.
Born on July 18, 1933, in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of James and Helen Cady Harrison. Elaine married the love of her life, William Ollivet, Jr., on September 7, 1952, at Holy Trinity Church, Poughkeepsie, NY.
She worked as a floral designer for over fifty years at Arts and Flowers and later for Flower Barn.
In addition to her beloved husband of 69 years, William Ollivet, Jr., she is survived by her son, William B. "Billy" Ollivett, III, daughter, Lorrie Place, daughter, Cara Rood, brother, James Harrison, eight grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson.
Calling hours will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Monday, June 13, 2022, at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., 4365 Albany Post Rd., Hyde Park, NY.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
