Slager Family- Susan, Rick, Robin and Debbie, so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was like a second mother to me, what wonderful memories we all have of her and your Dad. That laugh of his, such great neighbors
and friends. She made the best blueberry pancakes up in Michigan, always remember that! Love, Terri Sweinsberger Gawell and family.

I was so blessed to have known your Mom and Dad. Your mother always greeted me with a joyful smile and a kind word when I would come to help them with their gardens. It was obvious that she had the love of God in her heart.

Susan, Rick, Robin & Debbie I was saddened to hear the news. So many fond memories of good times at your house and in Michigan. Such a fun devoted dear friend, mother, grandmother. Her kindness and compassion toward others touched all who knew her and especially to my parents. A life well lived with a wonderful sense of humor & contagious laugh I'll always remember. What a beautiful lady Mrs. Slager was -both inside and out! I ran into Dr.Slager and her when they were visiting his mother at First Community Village where she was getting stronger. Mrs. slager was so dear to me and made me feel like I had made her day! What a role model couple they were. Grateful they are back together. Slager children -I pray for peace for each of you . Stick together. My parents (Bob and Caroline Wright ) were friends of your folks and my brother Bucky and sister Jennie and I went to high school with all of you. Mom and Dad have been gone for 5 and 6 years so we understand. Your mom was one of the best!!
