Eldon 'Butch' Wesley Fluck, 65, of Redwood Falls, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on February 2nd, 2024.
Butch was born on June 1st, 1958 to Wesley and Viola (Kozak) Fluck in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. After Butch graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1976 he went on to study at Ridgewater college in Willmar, Minnesota and received his technical degree. Later on in life, Butch continued his education at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minnesota and finished his four year education.
On August 2nd, 1980, Butch and Marsha (Kohout) were united into marriage at Bechyn Church in Bechyn, Minnesota. Butch and Marsha were blessed to have three children: Amy, Travis, and Brian. They had great memories of traveling to Florida, California, Montana, New York, Arizona, and Omaha. Lake Florida was another popular destination the family spent time at; it was like a second home. Most importantly, he loved his family and especially his grandchildren.
Butch was a man of service and spent many years volunteering his time with many different organizations in the community. Some of these include: Celebrate Redwood Falls, Lion's Club, Restorative Justice, Knights of Columbus, Redwood Area Hospital Board and assisted at the Redwood Falls Golf Course any chance he could get. He did his best to never miss a Redwood Valley High school athletic event. Butch was always present when it came to supporting his grandchildren at their different activities. Whether it was baseball, 4H, gymnastics, piano, band concerts, dance or school programs. Lastly, he spent as much time as possible at the Redwood Falls Golf Club golfing with his friends.
Butch is survived by his wife Marsha Fluck; Children: Amy (Jeremy) Serbus, Travis (Frankee) Fluck, Brian (Sierra) Fluck all from Redwood Falls. He was blessed with 4 beautiful grandchildren, Conner (11), Abigail (9), Brooklyn (3), Becker (3 months); Sisters: Gail (Mike), Donna, and Marcia. Lastly, Butch had two lovely fur grandbabies Luna (4) and Griff (3). Butch was preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Viola Fluck; Mother and Father in-law William and Rose Kohout; niece Tonya, nephews: Shaquille and Kenleigh.
Services will be held at St. Catherine's Catholic Church with a visitation on Friday, February 9th from 5 to 7pm. The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 10th at 11 am with visitation one hour prior to the service and luncheon to follow. Burial will be held at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to a donation of choice.
