Eldon Hoiland Obituary

Eldon R. Hoiland was born on February 9, 1959, a son of Roy and Mabel (Amrein) Hoiland in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated in the Minot area, attending Minot Public Schools. He furthered his education by attending Bismarck State College, where he earned an Associates of Applied Science degree.
On May 16, 1980, Eldon was united in marriage to Janice Reinhardt in Minot. Eldon worked construction and in the oil fields, so the family lived throughout ND, settling in Minot in 2013. Janice died October 22, 2016.
Eldon is survived by:
sons, Jeremy (Amber) Hoiland and Justin Hoiland; grandchildren, Jaydon, Cooper, Kennedy, Brooklyn, Ethan, Jaeger, Aleah, Maxtin and Journi; siblings: Roger Hoiland, Peggy (Ray) Mahle; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Eldon was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 36 years Janice, son Joshua, and siblings, Judith Dintelman, Dorian "Ole" Hoiland, Russell Hoiland, Kenneth Hoiland, Loren Hoiland, Frank "Toby"Hoiland, nieces Lisa Mahle, Keri Lee Thorson, and a nephew Shane Hoiland.
Visitation: Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 10 until 11 am at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot
Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 11 am in Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot
Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
