Born on October 1, 1942, in Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania, Ellie was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Helen Hazen Martin. She was married to the love of her life, David George Clinton, for 43 years until his passing in 2007.
Ellie dedicated 15 years to shaping young minds as a teacher and director at Little Friends Preschool in California, where her gentle guidance and joyful spirit left a lasting impact on countless families. Strong in her faith, she lived a life marked by kindness, quick wit, and unwavering generosity. She enjoyed collecting Precious Moments figurines. She was a gifted cook, a loving and caring presence to all who knew her, and a longtime choir member whose beautiful voice reflected the warmth of her heart. She was a friend to many and will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her sons, Douglas (Sunshine) Clinton of Thompsons Station, Tennessee, and Mark David (Kristi) Clinton of Murrieta, California; sisters, Pat Wilkinson and Joanne Augustine, both of Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania; and her beloved grandchildren, Cole, Adley Rae, Jessica, and Rebecca Clinton.
