Mr. Harold Gordon Clinton was born June 8 1932. Mr. Clinton loved his birth month so much, that he would celebrate it on the 8th and the 10th. He was born in Alamance County, NC but moved to Amityville, NY for many years until his retirement. Mr. Clinton had the pleasure of being born to great parents, Mr. Walter Lee Clinton and Mrs. Bertha May Walker Clinton and was married to the love of his life Minnie Pearl Price Clinton.
He served in the United States Army and received an Honorable discharge. Mr. Clinton was a hardworking man, who enjoyed using his talents as a carpenter to provide for his family. After retirement he found great joy in building and fixing things. He loved to do lawn work and fix cars; whatever he could find to stay busy! A lesson for us all; so that at the gracious age of 92, maybe we would still be able to mow our own lawns.
The long life and legacy of Mr. Harold Gordon Clinton will be forever cherished by his children, Harold Clinton, Jr. (Veronica), Brian Clinton (Nicole), Angela Clinton "favorite daughter" and Cathy Keyes (Howard); 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and dear friends.
Mr. Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Minnie Pearl Price Clinton, a son, Jeffrey Clinton and daughter, Christie Clinton; all of his siblings, Jerome, Richard, Connie, Walter "Junie", Fred "Freddie Boy" Clinton, Lucile C. McLean, Ruby C. Love, Rachel Clinton and Ruth Ann C. Kelly.
*Funeral services for Mr. Harold G. Clinton will take place in Amityville, NY, provided by Hasgill Funeral Services, Inc.
