Eleanor F. "Ellie" Colucci, age 96, of Utica, NY, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, September 19, 2024, with her loved ones by her side, at Wynn Hospital, Utica, NY.
She was born in Utica, NY, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Ann Lacey Casalett. She attended UFA. Ellie was united in marriage on September 27, 1965, to Humbert Colucci; a union of 59 years. She was very well known at Bev's clothing store, in Utica, for many years.
She was a very "Classy Lady" and loved by everyone. She was an exceptional cook and a loving mother, nani and great- nani and will be sadly missed by all.
She is survived by her her husband, Humbert Colucci; daughter, Shelly Milazzo and her husband, Joe; her son, James C. Pento; daughter, MaryAnn Gulla and her husband, Philip; son, Nicky Colucci and his wife, Cheryl;
Beloved grandchildren, Fran Diana, Dina Rizo, Jaime Buley, Tiffany Wiehl, Nico Pento, Nicholas Colucci; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Spencer, Mitchell, Angelo, Eden, Jacob and James. She also leaves her brother in law and sister in law William and Donna Colucci.
Ellie was predeceased by her sister, De De Addotta; and great-grandaughter, Ellie.
The family would like to thank Wynn Hospital and caregivers Rene and Tammi. Ellie's family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the extraordinary care given to Ellie by Dr. Amy Gorzynski. She answered every call with care and concern.
Ellie's Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 12 Noon at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel /Blessed Sacrament Parish, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. James Cesta. There will be an opportunity to greet guests after the Mass.
