Dear Bob, Dick and families, What a wonderful woman you had as a mother and grandmother. Aunt Eleanor was always very interesting to talk with. Her knowledge in so many areas was impressive. Her travels were to admire. My greatest memories of Aunt Eleanor are of Thanksgivings at her home. She prepared the best macaroni and cheese. Her and Uncle Roland's home was a great gathering place for the Whiton family! I am blessed to have her in my life. Her attitude was always very positive. May her legacy live on in all of us.

Dick, Bob and families,
Sending our sympathy, love and prayers.
So sorry we cannot be there with you this Saturday.
Even though we would very much like to be with you.
Health issues prevent our traveling at this time.
Your mom was a very precious lady and we will
miss her greatly.
It will be hard to go to Perry someday and not be
able to stop in and see her. She was always so happy
to see us with her cheery personality. We loved her
very much and all of you as a family as well.

Our Aunt Eleanor was a treasure in the family.
She was quite the world traveler, but yet she was very comfortable in her small-town Iowa community.
She was always up for a visit and spirited conversation. She met age with grace - walking on the treadmill each morning into her 90s.
She will be remembered fondly by my family for her tireless efforts keeping in touch with all of of us, from generation to generation, via annual Birthday & Anniversary cards AND e-mails.
Aunt Eleanor never missed the chance to enjoy a good ice cream social.
She truly lit up a room with her smile and spunky attitude.
She shared her love with so many, and she was loved in return.
Rest in Peace.

Auntie Eleanor---
WHEEEEE!!!
She was always a delight!
I loved her laugh and positive attitude!
She was famous for her scotcheroos, which I now am caring on the tradition.
She always had some on hand when we stopped by for a visit.
She was a bright smart respectable lady.
I could sit and talk with her for hours in person or on the phone.
She used to have the best thanksgiving dinners at her house on the farm with all the family.
She was a gracious host and we all loved her macaroni and cheese!
It was the best!!
Auntie Eleanor never missed a reason to send a card. She never missed a birthday or anniversary. The last thing she always wrote was "Come see me!"
Boy I will miss Auntie Eleanor! She was an inspiration to me and one I always looked up to. I hope to grow older and stay as active as she did!
I will truly miss Auntie Eleanor!!! She was a very great great lady!
