Elena was born in Bogota, Colombia a daughter of the late Marco Tulio and Betsabe (Moreno) Parra. She was educated in Colombia and migrated to the United States where she obtained a position with the United States Postal Service as a mail handler. Elena held that position until she retired.
She was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed traveling with her family.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband Jesus A. Moreno who passed away on February 25, 2019.
Surviving are her children, Diana, Maurice, Julian and Antonio, 7 grandchildren and extended family members.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday August 21, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in Most Holy Trinity Parish 236 Pa 390 Cresco PA. A public viewing will be held at the church on Thursday August 21, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 AM.
