Elijah Reece Perault passed away far too young on June 24, 2025. Eli was born in North Adams, MA on March 12, 2003 as Emily Rose Perault to Maryann and Bill Perault of Dalton.
Eli attended St. Agnes Academy from pre-K through 8th grade and graduated from Wahconah Regional High School in 2021. From an early age, Eli was a talented performer. Growing up, he danced at the Dalton Ballet Studio and attended the Berkshire Music School where he took voice lessons. While at Wahconah, Eli was active in the Apollonian Players and also ran on the Cross Country team.
Eli had a heart that was as big as his creative spirit and also had a huge sense of humor. Those fortunate enough to truly know him will remember and miss his kind spirit, willingness to step in when needed, and the care and thoughtfulness he showed others. Eli was a talented artist and his family is fortunate to have many of his drawings and paintings.
Eli was predeceased by his grandfathers Bill Worth (Poppy) and Bill Perault Sr. (Grampy), his grandmother Diane Perault (Nonna), and several aunts and uncles.
In addition to his parents, Eli is survived by his twin brother Noah, older sister Hannah, grandmothers Judy Perault (Memere) and Joan Worth (Grandma), and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Additional survivors include the greatest stuffed hedgehog of all time - Presley, as well as the most loved, best cared for, and fluffiest bunnies in the world - Brownie and Lulu.
A celebration of Eli's life will be held at Shire (at The Stationery Factory, 63 Flansburg Avenue, Dalton, MA) on Saturday, August 9th from noon until 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eli's memory to The Trevor Project (www.thetrevorproject.org) or to the Berkshire Coalition for Suicide Prevention (www.berkshirecoalition.org/donate).
