Elinor Baker Obituary
She was born January 31st, 1948, in Dover, Delaware, to the late Paul Edward Baker and Elinor Matheney.
Elinor was a University of Delaware graduate, and loved spending time with her church, where she helped them develop the web presences for the congregation. She had a huge spot in her heart for reading, she even went to the library faithfully every week. Elinor loved watching wild animals, and of course had a special love for her own dogs who loved them dearly.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Paul Baker.
Elinor is survived by her brother, Robert M. Baker of Dover, Delaware.
Funeral services will be held 12PM, Friday, October 18th, 2024, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, Delaware. Friends may visit one hour prior.
The interment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery, Dover, Delaware.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to SPCA.

I had the pleasure of working with Elinor for 25 years at the Department of State. She was a whiz with computers and technology and I enjoyed working with her both as her supervisor for a time and always as a great employee. Blessings, gail Lanouette
