Elisabeth Saucedo, age 33, of Houston, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on February 18, 2025. Born on August 19, 1991, to Richard Saucedo and the late Diane Saucedo, Elisabeth was a vibrant and cherished daughter, sister, and aunt. Elisabeth graduated from Carver High School and went on to pursue her passion for communication and storytelling at the University of Houston, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism/Communication. She was a proud Cougar, always eager to share her school spirit. Lissy, as she was affectionately known, possessed a truly infectious laugh that could brighten even the darkest of days. Whether the subject was humorous or not, her laughter was a contagious melody that brought joy to everyone around her. She had a deep love for singing and art, finding creative expression in both. Elisabeth was fiercely protective of her family and friends, yet she also possessed a gentle heart, radiating kindness and love. She embraced life with enthusiasm, determined to seize every moment. Notably, Elisabeth was a talented writer, and she proudly published two books during her lifetime, leaving behind a legacy of her creative spirit. One of our favorite memories of Lissy was during a family game night. We were playing charades, and Lissy was acting out a scene from a movie. She was so animated and hilarious, completely throwing herself into the performance, that we were all in tears from laughing. Even when no one could guess the movie, it didn't matter – her sheer joy and comedic timing were the highlight of the night. That was Lissy; she could turn any ordinary moment into something extraordinary. Elisabeth is survived by her loving father, Richard Saucedo; her devoted sister, Sandra Saucedo DeLeon; her brother-in-law, Steve DeLeon; her adored nephews, Ethan Richard LeBlanc and Noah DeLeon, and her adored niece June Elsie Saucedo. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
