Elizabeth Anne Duft

Elizabeth Anne Duft, 57, of Westminster, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
Born September 22, 1967 in Schenectady, New York she was the beloved daughter of John Joseph, III and Ellen Marie (Wagner) Zajac of Berlin, Maryland. She was the loving wife of Anthony John Duft, her devoted husband of 29 years.
Liz was a graduate of Ramapo High School, class of 1985. She furthered her education and received an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Bergen Community College. She began her career as an administrative assistant at Elrick & Lavidge Marketing Research. Her greatest accomplishment was being a mother to her four children. She later worked for Best Western Hotel, Carroll County Public Schools, and recently was a cashier for Walmart in Hampstead- a job she thoroughly enjoyed.
Liz loved her family and especially enjoyed being the best "Gigi" to her beautiful grandchildren. She recently enjoyed making recipes for sourdough at home, caring for plants, and spending time with her family. She was also a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are children Anthony Duft, Jr., Timothy Duft, Vicky Duft, and Zach Duft; grandchildren Jaxson and Whitley Duft; sister Sandra Pepin and her husband Jerry and their children Gerard and Alex; brother John Wagner Zajac; and sister Ellen Marie Schwarzman and her husband Teddy and their children Lucy, William, and Mary.
The family will welcome friends on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 6 to 8pm at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 11 am at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster. A Eulogy will begin at 10:45 am. Interment will be in Meadow Branch Cemetery.
