Elizabeth "Betty" Gnall, 91, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2023. She is predeceased her husband George Gnall; parents Anna and John Polansky; infant daughter Kate Gnall; sisters Mary Chupron, Helen Borowski, and Pauline Kalinich; son-in-law Fr. Larry Barriger.
She is survived by her four children Gary Gnall, Linda Barriger, David (Cathy) Gnall, and Alan (Christina) Gnall; grandchildren Laura (Mark) Waskovich, Lisa (French) Roskos, Jessica Gnall, Michael Gnall, Allison Holleran, Collin (Samantha) Gnall, Kate (Kyle) Gnall; ten great grandchildren.
Betty was a long-time employee and retired from Sears and was very proud of her accomplishments working there that helped provide for her children. A longtime member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church of Binghamton, where she helped with the pirohi pinching and holubki rolling. After retirement she enjoyed her time doing word searches, competitive Yahtzee games, cooking, and holiday baking (Nut Rolls, Poppy Seed Rolls and Fruit Cake). She always signed holiday and birthday cards "Who Loves You".
Since Betty was a late riser, visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at St. Michael's Orthodox Church in Binghamton from 11am to 12Noon. A Funeral Service will begin at 12Noon at the church. Burial will be at a later date in the Church's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Michael's Orthodox Church in Betty's memory.
