Elizabeth Earlene (Liz) Hibbs, age 67, of Gas, Kansas, passed away September 12, 2025, at her home. Liz was born April 8, 1958, in Nevada, Missouri, to Earl Cornell and Donna J. (Alkire) Cornell.
Liz married Tony Hibbs on February 18, 1989. She was a homemaker.
Liz was a caregiver and enjoyed taking care of other people. She was a very caring and giving person. Liz liked to fish and go camping, and she collected ceramic animals. She will be missed by many friends and relatives.
Liz was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
Liz is survived by son, Jonathan (Sarah) Hibbs; sister, Susie Cornell; brothers, Greg Cornell, Steve (Susan) Cornell, Mike (Janet) Cornell; and grandchildren, Heidi Hibbs, Domniquic Swogar, Cody Hibbs, Jonathen Hibbs, Ruxin Hibbs.
Cremation will take place and no services are planned. Inurnment will be in Gas Cemetery, Gas, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to the Wings of Warriors, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas 66749.
