Betty moved to Ellet where she lived most of her life and retired from N & W Railroad. She was devoted to her family and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; children, Dawn and Wayne; brother, Roy Jr. "Bud" (June) Kirk; and nephew, James Kirk. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Townend; grandchildren, Noel, Shane, Nicki, and Jessie; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Lila and Sylvie; special friend, Valerie Smead; and other loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 6 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Joe Burkhardt officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for two hours prior to the funeral, from 4 – 6 p.m. Private burial at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven of Rest.

So very sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was my oldest living 1st cousin. Our father's were brothers. She was a lovely person will miss her very much. Prayers and thoughts for friends and family. Lovely Linda Ritchie

My first cousin. We shared many family memories, laughed and shared many thoughts and happy times. I will miss her (our emails) and occasional phone calls. She was a delight, always happy, smiling and had some giggles for the day. Loved her so much.
