Charles Ray Boring, a beloved man, born on May 7, 1948, in Amherst, Ohio, peacefully passed away on July 6, 2025, in Akron, Ohio, leaving behind a lasting legacy of love and generosity. He was a devoted spouse and father, cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. Charles's heart was as expansive as his spirit, and he embraced those around him with warmth and kindness.
His career as a machinist in the aerospace industry showcased his remarkable skills, while his passion for computer work added variety to his professional life. Charles's dedication extended beyond the workplace; he proudly shared his knowledge by teaching computers in the "Bug Club" during his time in Florida, a role that exemplified his generous nature and commitment to helping others.
Throughout his life, Charles found immense joy in the sunny embrace of Florida, a place he loved to call home during his later years. His personality radiated through his interactions, nurturing enduring relationships with both family and friends. His laughter often filled the air, and it will be profoundly missed.
Charles graduated from Mogadore High School, a foundational experience that contributed to the vibrant life he would lead. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Glen Seibert, as well as his half-sister Hannah. He leaves behind nieces and nephews, including Gary, Lisa, and Christina, who will carry forward the memory of his unwavering love and support.
While he leaves this earthly realm, he is greeted on the other side by his parents, Howard Boring and Edna (Boone) Boring Johnson, his special friend and partner Louisa Boring, and his daughter Christina Boring, as they embrace him with open arms. Charles's departure marks a profound loss for all who knew him, yet his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives he touched.
As we gather together to celebrate his life, we remember him not only as a skilled machinist and loving father but also as a remarkable teacher and an inspiring human being. The world feels a little dimmer without Charles Ray Boring, but his love will forever illuminate our lives. A graveside committal of cremains will be announced at a future date.
