Elizabeth A. Manske

Elizabeth A. 'Betty' Manske, age 66, of Neenah, passed away on Friday April 7th, 2023 at ThedaCare Medical Center, Neenah. Betty was born October 16th, 1956 in Kaukauna daughter of the late Elvin and Geraldine (Heinz) Schultz. Growing up in Kaukauna, she graduated from Kaukauna High School with the class of 1975. Betty had a group of diverse and loving friends from High School. She always looked forward to gathering with them, sharing memories and laughing.
Betty worked at Rich Products in Appleton, Wisconsin for many years and later she enjoyed working with children at Clayton Elementary School in Neenah. St Gabriel Catholic Church became Betty's home parish where she sang with the church choir. She was an active member at the YMCA of Neenah/Menasha where she usually saw friends and family members. Her hobbies included but were not limited to church choir, hospital volunteer, puzzles and games.
Betty married Edward Manske on October 20th, 1984 at St. Gabriel Church in Neenah. One of the activities Betty and Ed enjoyed together was taking motorcycle trips around Wisconsin to share all the natural beauty of our state. Betty also enjoyed the fly away vacations to Florida and California.
Betty is survived by her husband Edward; her children, Rebecca Manske (Special friend Shawn Springborn) and Ben (Nicole) Manske. Betty was very proud of her grandchildren, Clara Joyce and Lucas Bennett Manske. Betty is further survived by her brothers and sister Bob (Darlene) Schultz, Berne (Gary) Steffens, Kathy (Rick) Otis, Mary Schultz, Dorri Knaack, Ric (Stephanie) Schultz, brothers and sisters-in-laws Dan (Barbara) Hermans, Robert (Vicky) Hermans, Beth West, Thomas (Bonnie) Manske, Lisa (Patrick) O'Connor, Susan Hermans, (fiance Robert Fulcer) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her infant son, Ryan Scott Manske, parents, Elvin and Geraldine Schultz, in-laws Edward and Joyce Manske, brothers-in-law, John Manske and Ronald West.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30am on Friday April 14th, 2023 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church 900 Geiger Street with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30am until the time of service. Burial will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Kessler-Fahrenkrug Funeral Home is assisting the family. A memorial is being established.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff in the ICU at ThedaCare Medical Center, Neenah for the care given to Betty.
