Elizabeth Ward Rake (Scully) of Yardley, PA passed away at her residence on Friday, July 21, 2023 with her family by her side. She was 64 years young.
Born in Camden, NJ to the late Patrick and Elizabeth (O'Brien) Ward, Liz resided in Wildwood NJ and Galloway Township, NJ before moving to Yardley, PA 8 years ago.
Liz received her bachelor's degree and master's degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix. She was formerly employed as a maternity nurse with the former Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital (now Cape Regional Hospital), AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic County, NJ and a clinical informaticist with Cerner Corporation a health information company where she was able to fulfill her dreams of traveling the globe. She was able to visit 49 USA states, along with Brazil and Ireland. Liz also spent some time as a travelling nurse where she lived and worked for a few months at a time in Boston, MA, Nantucket, and Cape Cod to name a few.
Liz was also formerly employed as a flight attendant, but never fulfilled her position due to 9/11.
In her free time, she enjoyed still life painting with pastels and watercolors, folk art, and weaving Nantucket baskets. Art was Liz's true passion and brought her great joy. Her talent for painting and creating art was magnificent.

Scully, III; dear sister of Mary Pat Palombo and husband Aldo, Eileen (Roache) Kutsopias and husband Pete, Marie Zinno and husband Doug, Kathleen Brown and husband Chris, Theresa Ward and husband Michael Murray; loving grandmother of Sydney Scully; also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
