Elizabeth Mary Scott

Elizabeth Mary (Cullen) Scott, 22, a resident of Tyngsborough, and formerly a long-time resident of Chelmsford, passed suddenly due to a brief illness on September 3, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Caleb William Scott. The couple wed on December 29, 2023.
She was born in Boston on October 13, 2001, and was the daughter of Peter F. and Kathleen M. (Doyle) Cullen of Tyngsborough.
Elizabeth attended Ste. Jeanne d'Arc School in Lowell, Lowell Catholic High School (2020) and graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (2023). At the time of her passing she was employed as a commissioning engineer by NV5 in Andover, MA and as a caregiver for her brother, Brendan. Over the past year all of her dreams came true by fulfilling her vocation as a wife, and on August 30, becoming a mother to her only child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy. She led a joyful life, guided by her Catholic Faith. We are grateful to God for the gift of this loving wife, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, and friend. Please pray for the repose of her soul.
In addition to her loving husband and parents, Elizabeth is survived by her son Peter William Scott, her brothers Phillip of Bedford, and Brendan Cullen of Tyngsboro and many devoted aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Elizabeth is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Phillip and Angela Doyle, her paternal grandparents, Francis and Margaret Cullen, her aunts Kathleen Cullen and Mary Wilson, and her uncle Robert O'Brien.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 4 pm – 7 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Parish, 80 Union St., Clinton. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CHURCH. Interment to follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, 130 Billerica Rd., Chelmsford, at 12:30 pm. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CEMETERY.
