Elizabeth Rose Ann "Libby Smith" 71 of Bellefontaine passed away Monday August 19, 2024 at Belle Springs Care Center.
She was born May 29, 1953, in a car on the way to Kenton Hospital.
The daughter of the late Lawrence and Rosemond Harshfield
Libby's hometown was West Mansfield, Ohio and she graduated from Benjamin Logan High School in 1970. Libby worked at Daylay Egg Farm from 1980 to 2013
She enjoyed reading, cooking, country music and especially the Ohio State Buckeye Basketball.
Libby married Don Foley and they had 3 children who survive her; Lee, Kevin and Angie: as well as a special granddaughter Jasmine Hakola.
Also surviving are her brothers; Larry Harshfield, Dick (Melinda) Harshfield, George Harshfield, Tom (Barb) Harshfield, Pat (Georgiana) Harshfield ; sisters Connie (Jerry) Abbott and Vicky Arnold; sister-in law Judy.
She was preceded in death by two brothers Donnie and Mike; as well as her second husband Roger Smith; and her brother-in-law Bill Arnold.
The family of Libby would like to extend a special thanks to Belle Springs Care Center for their outstanding care over the past 11 years.
