Elizabeth Valen Obituary
Elizabeth "Angie" Angel Valen, 49, of Middletown, passed away on March 21, 2024, at Middlesex Hospital. Angie was born on September 12, 1974, in New Haven, Connecticut. She spent her younger years at Benhaven in North Haven. She later lived with the DeSorbo Family of Branford for 17 years and always remained a beloved part of their family. She transitioned into SARAH Day Program then moved into the MARC Community five years ago.
Angie loved loud music, the color red, pizza, and going out for cheeseburgers, fries and ice cream. She enjoyed bowling, swimming, horses, puzzles, and movies. She loved to organize, reorganize, and organize again. She appreciated spending time with people and socializing, especially celebrating holidays, birthdays, and special occasions. Angie will also be remembered for her wicked sense of humor and her feisty attitude.
Angie is survived by her loving and supportive family Dina and Phil DeSorbo and their children Sofia and Isabella. They were blessed to have Angie in their lives and will miss her always.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at MARC Community Resources, 25 Industrial Road, Middletown.
