Vicci Van Valen

Vicci Van Valen was born on July 25,1959 in East Orange, New Jersey, daughter of Arizona Conner Van Valen and Joseph Ralph Van Valen, Sr. Raised and educated in the East Orange Public School System, she graduated from of East Orange High School with the Class of 1977. She would continue her education at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey where she studied Communications and Journalism.
Vicci enjoyed walking, listening to and singing music, watching movies and television shows, coloring, writing, language arts and trivia. She was known as a local historian as she knew many details, and facts about East Orange. Known for her radiant smile, infectious laugh and sharp wit - she had a special impact on everyone's life she touched.
Vicci Van Valen departed this life on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Hackensack-UMC Mountainside in Glen Ridge, New Jersey at the age of 65. She was predeceased by her parents, Arizona and Joseph Van Valen, Sr.
She leaves to cherish fond memories, a son, Victor Van Valen; her twins, David and Camille Van Valen; a sister, Catherine Van Valen; two brothers, Joseph Van Valen, Jr. (Giovanna) and Richard Van Valen and a host of other relatives and friends.
