Ella Mae King

Ella Mae King, age 77 years, 5 months, and 18 days, of Stearns, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at her home and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 16, 2023, in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Angel Cemetery.
Ella Mae was born March 25, 1946 to Hobart Vaughn and Truie Watters Vaughn. She had worked at American Bag before her retirement and was a member of the New Haven Baptist Church. Ella Mae loved the Lord and was always witnessing to others. She enjoyed going to church, reading, car rides, and sitting on the porch. But her greatest pleasure came from spending time with her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents, an infant brother, Leonard Vaughn, sisters, Beverly Vaughn and Hazel Perry and a daughter-in-law, Darlene Daugherty King.
Survivors include her husband, Noel King, a son, Timothy King, a daughter, Denise Branscum and her husband, Jimmy Branscum, a brother, Rev. Samuel Vaughn and his wife, Debbie, sisters, Lois Rapp and her husband, Ken, and Jeanette Worley and her husband, Willard, and grandchildren, Jordan Crabtree, Rashall Crabtree, Nicholas Crabtree, and Natalie Crabtree.
