With broken hearts we share the passing of Elle Jo Kramschuster. On May 24, 2025, Elle left us far too soon at the young age of 24 years old in a tragic accident.
Elle was born on November 14, 2000, at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Eau Claire, WI. She was loved beyond words by her parents Gary & Staci Kramschuster; her siblings, Shelby Pond and Trey (Jenna) Kramschuster; nephew, Luca; & niece, Sadie Kramschuster; and by so many of those who had the blessing of meeting her.
Growing up in Bloomer, WI, Elle attended St. Paul's Catholic School and graduated with honors from both Bloomer High School (2019) and the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse (2023).
Since graduation, Elle had been working alongside her Mom-an opportunity she cherished not only for the experience but for the meaningful time they shared together. She had planned to move to Texas later this summer to start a new chapter full of promise, adventure, and possibilities.
In her free time, Elle embraced life to the fullest and always lived in the moment. She treasured her friendships and spent time visiting friends all over the world. She will be missed by so many who considered her not only a true friend, but family.
More than anything, Elle loved spending time together with her extended family. She had a very special place in her heart for her nephew/BFF, Luca & niece, Sadie. Elle adored them deeply and her love for them was evident in every joyful moment from building forts, to water fights, and all the quiet moments. She was the type of aunt who brought laughter, warmth and created unforgettable memories in their young lives.
Elle had the sweet ability to touch the lives of those around her and make a lasting impression. She brightened every room she walked into with her magnetic smile, calming and loving spirit. Elle lived her life with grace and authenticity, always staying true to herself and lifting others through her words, presence, and actions.
Elle is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lee & Joyce Kramschuster; maternal grandparents, Robert & Beatrice Seibel; uncle, Jim Kramschuster; aunt, Kris Kramschuster; and cousin, Devon Kramschuster.
Elle was just beginning what promised to be an incredible journey. Although that journey ended far too soon, the mark she left on her family and friends will never fade. Elle will always hold a special place in our hearts and she will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her.
Mass of Christian Burial for Elle will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Bloomer with Father Victor Feltes celebrating the mass. Visitation will be held prior to the mass Thursday from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Bloomer. Private interment will be held at a later time at St. Paul's South Catholic Cemetery in Bloomer.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Elle and her love of animals, we ask for donations to the Chippewa Humane Association where she adopted her cat, Rue. Donate online at http://www.chippewahumane.com/donations.html.
