Ellen A. Larkin passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at her home on Wellesley Island with her son by her side following a brief illness.
Ellen was born July 10, 1958 in Watertown, New York, to Richard and Anna (Slate) Larkin. She was a graduate of LaFargeville Central School.
Throughout her life, Ellen worked in a variety of roles, but she was best known for the care and pride she took in her housekeeping and cleaning work. She was someone people trusted completely in their homes. Ellen built lasting relationships with those she worked for because of her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the genuine kindness she showed to everyone she met.
Ellen will be remembered as a loving, trustworthy, and warm-hearted person who had a wonderful sense of humor. She had a way of making people laugh and feel comfortable, and she brought lightness and joy to those around her. Her caring nature and ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on many.
Above all, Ellen cherished her family, especially her son, Jesse, who was by her side throughout her life and at the time of her passing.
Ellen is survived by her loving son, Jesse Larkin of Wellesley Island, a granddaughter, Raiven Parker, a brother Ritty Larkin, two nieces, Sarah Carpenter and Lyndsey Campbell.
She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Anna Larkin, her sister, Shellie Larkin and many aunts and uncles.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.
