In addition to her beloved husband of fifty-one years, Lynn is survived by her children, John Pressgrove and wife, Kayla, Scott Ross and wife, Linda, Ryan Pressgrove and wife, Jodi, and Rodney Pressgrove; grandchildren, Kellan Bush, Darcey Ross, Emma Ross, Riley Pressgrove and wife, Lydia, Rilan Pressgrove and girlfriend, Lexi Trout, Cory Pressgrove; great-grandchild, Jacob Aaron Hunsell; sisters-in-law, Shirley Pressgrove and Brenda Dare; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by her aunts and uncles, Evelyn and Darrell Davis, Sr.; brother-in-law, Marvin Dare; and in-laws, Ed and Juanita Pressgrove.
Lynn worked as a secretary as Mount Vernon District 80 School for many years, mostly at J.L. Buford School. She was a long time member at Logan Street Baptist Church in Mount Vernon. Lynn was very gifted at sending friends and family cards. She really loved her kids at J.L. Buford School. Lynn loved her family especially, her grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Reverend Alan Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Lynn's honor to Logan Street Baptist Church.
