I met Ellen over 25 years ago when I worked at a hospital where Ellen, as a Professor of Nursing students, would bring her students to teach them how to do direct patient care. Ellen and I often got into conversations then. I learned that she was very respectful of patients and their need to be treated with dignity. I got to know Ellen more through the years in several churches since then. From my interactions with Ellen I believe she would want me to encourage you to focus on who God is, what He did for you, and your Full Identity in Christ. The depth of meaning from Bible verses about these three powerful themes will soothe your souls and pull you out of grief and rough times.
