Ellen Calloway Robinson

SWANSBORO - Ellen Calloway Robinson, 85, of Swansboro, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Croatan Ridge in Newport. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at One Harbor Church in Beaufort, NC with Rev. Scott Beierwaltes and Rev. Patrick Whaley officiating. Burial will follow Carteret Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Robinson was born May 28,1939, in Franklin, NC. She was the daughter of the late Henderson Lloyd and Edith Welch Calloway.
She was an elementary school teacher who loved to share her joy of learning with the kids in her care. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Calloway Callahan.
Survivors include her husband of over 60 years, James R. Robinson of the home; daughter, Cindy Bailey (William) of Beaufort; son, Dr. Wesley Lloyd Robinson (Tara) of Charlotte; and grandchildren, Tyler Ray, Andrew Ray, Meredith Bailey, Mallory Bailey, Lily Robinson, Parish Robinson, and Adline Robinson.
