Ellen Carole Taylor, 52, of Cheyenne, died on August 11, 2024 in Cheyenne.
She was born on November 30, 1971 in Schenectady, New York.
Ellen grew up in Boulder Colorado. She enjoyed playing fast pitch softball as a youth and went on to play college softball at Colby Community College in Kansas and then Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
She worked at Scepter Supply in Cheyenne.
Ellen enjoyed any activities which she could spend time with her family - beach vacations, spending time at the cabin, playing cards, snowmobiling, or any family gathering.
She is survived by her husband, Shane Taylor, her son, Kody Taylor, and her daughter, Morgan Taylor, all of Cheyenne; her parents, William and Carolyn Perkins of Broomfield, Colorado; her sister, Karen Michel of Broomfield, Colorado; her sister, Diane Whitt of Broomfield, Colorado; and sister, Laura Quinlan of Woodland Park, Colorado.
There will be an open house to celebrate her life on August 24, 2024 from 1-5 at the Taylor residence in Cheyenne.
Instead of sending flowers, please make a donation to Lights on Bright (www.lightsonbright.org) or Holy Pursuit's Dream Foundation (www.holypursuitsdreamfoundation.org) in memory of Ellen.
