Elliana Jolie Nickens November 9, 2009 – October 5, 2025
With hearts full of love and sorrow, the family of Elliana Jolie Nickens announces her passing on October 5, 2025, at the age of 15.
Born on November 9, 2009, Elliana was a kind and gentle soul whose quiet strength and creativity touched everyone who knew her. She found beauty in the world around her - through art, animals, and moments of stillness that reflected her thoughtful spirit. Shy but deeply compassionate, Elliana had a gift for making others feel seen and loved simply by being herself.
Elliana was preceded in death by her younger sibling who passed before birth, her grandmother Cynthia Webb, grandfather Mark Nickens Sr., and great-grandfathers Donald Plowman and James Thone.
She is lovingly survived by her parents Tiffany Thone and Mark Nickens Jr.; her sister Jazzlyn Wilson; her cherished niece Harper Savard; grandparents Donna and Gary Thone; great-grandmothers Betty Plowman and Shirley Thone; aunts and uncles Jason and Jessica Thone, Rachel Thone, Andrew and Mandi Thone, Jake and Jessica Cates, and Courtney and Alvin Ceasear; along with many cousins and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
A celebration of Elliana's life will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the light she brought into their lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wild Acres Hands-On Animal Experience, a place that reflects Elliana's deep love for animals and the natural world.
Elliana's gentle spirit will continue to live on - in the laughter of loved ones, the art she created, and the quiet moments where kindness and beauty meet.
