1952 - 2024
West Springfield
Ellie Zoladz passed on December 5, 2024. Born in 1952, she was the proud daughter of Max P. and Verna (Sharek) Zoladz. She graduated from the MacDuffie School (Springfield) and Fisher College (Boston). She also was one of the first graduates at Westfield State earning her paralegal status. She worked in the legal field for Moran and Moran for many years and the Springfield Federal Probation Office, retiring in 2014. She leaves her spouse Louis Pagnoni, her daughter Gia Catanzarite (Felix Vargas) of West Springfield, and her son Peter Pagnoni (Rachel Szoztek) of Southington, CT. Also left to mourn are her loving sister Mary Uschmann and her nephew Aaron Uschmann. Ellie leaves her cherished grandchildren, Gennaio Furbert, Giselle Vargas, Malcolm and Rose Pagnoni, all of whom she loved beyond words. With her grandchildren, she felt truly alive and experienced unquestioned love. "It is only in the giving of oneself to others that we truly give". Services are private. Donations may be made to Dakin Humane Society.

Hello I am gennaio furbert, you may know me from my name stated above, but I am deeply saddened that ellie passed. She was a great grandmother and I will always remember her. the first thing she ever said to me was "he's the best." right after my birth. I thank my grandfather, joeseph catanzarite for being the first to write here.Ellie lived a good life and I will miss her
