Elliot David Pressman, age 75, shuffled off his mortal coil on August 18th, 2024, just after lunch, sadly missing dessert.
Finally, he is reunited with his beloved wife Peggy, who left us far too soon after 39 wonderful years together, he now rests in peace. He is survived by his children, Stephanie (Charles), Stephen (Ryan), and Michael; his siblings, Daniel, Marcia, and Bruce (Barbara); and his granddaughters, Lyla, Charley, and Olivia, who were the light of his life. He will also be missed by numerous sister and brother in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Elliot was a master tinkerer with a unique talent for breaking things just so he could fix them-twice the fun! Over the decades, he dabbled in everything from telecommunications, to fire safety and IT, each role adding a new chapter to his ever-evolving career. If it involved a gadget or a gizmo, Elliot was your guy.
He had a love for golf despite his game being more comedy of errors than Masters material and he never let that stop him from hitting the links with his brothers or friends. His love for traveling was fueled by his lack of enthusiasm for sitting still or staying in one place for too long. He found joy in frequent shore trips and camping adventures.
Elliot's passion for the Philadelphia Eagles was legendary; his spirited screams and many expletives could be heard from Bucks County to the stadium itself. Even though he was colorblind, he had an impressive collection of keychains-each having a story more colorful than his vision. He was also a fan of Christmas - the lights and the trains, a joyful paradox given his Jewish heritage. Let's not forget his fondness for mary jane, which he enjoyed with the same zest as his other hobbies.
Proudly serving in the Navy from 1967 to 1971, Elliot always looked back on those years with pride and the occasional tall tale.
Elliot will be laid to rest at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940 at 2:30pm on Monday August 26th, 2024
A Celebration of his life will follow immediately after interment at the home of Mary & Moshe Buchnik - 107 Orthodox Dr, Richboro, PA 18954. Please bring your best stories, cherished memories, and maybe even a keychain-he'd love that.

Elliot, you failed to make your battle stations during general quarters. You are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final departure. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.
