Ellsworth L. Margetts Jr

Ellsworth L. Margetts Jr, of Hingham, passed away March 22nd, 2025, at the age of 93.
Brother of David B. Margetts and wife Susan, Judith A. Margetts and husband Dana McDonough, Janet L. LaBrecque, the late Alfred E. Margetts, the late Mabel E. Wilcox, and the late Ruth C. Yourell. Brother-in-law of the late Arthur LaBrecque and the late Ronald Yourell. Survived by four cousins and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Ellsworth was a lifelong Hingham resident and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hingham. He worked at E.L. Margetts Inc. for 50 years. He loved riding horses, horse shows, and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox.
Visiting hours will take place Thursday April 10th, 2025, from 4-7pm at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel 21 Pond St Hingham MA 02043. Burial will take place Friday April 11th, 2025, at 11am at Fairmount Cemetery 168 Cedar St Weymouth MA 02189. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ellsworth's memory to the First Baptist Church of Hingham 85 Main St Hingham MA 02043.
