Elmer Confair Jr.

Elmer R. Confair, Jr., age 88, of Blackwood, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2024, at Virtua Voorhees hospital. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, the son of the late Elmer R. Sr and Mary E. Confair. Elmer was the beloved husband of Joan R. Confair and the loving father of Jim Confair, Michael (Elizabeth) Confair, Richard Confair, Kimberly Boyne, Scott Schaeffer (Melissa), and Karyn Chatmon (Andre).
Elmer was the cherished Pop-Pop of Lauren, Michael, Nicholas, Tyler, Shane, Sydney, Sabrina, Milton and Maisie, and the proud great-grandfather of Mikayla and Avery. He had a lengthy career with Philco, RCA, which later became Lockheed Martin, and retired after many years of dedicated service.
In his free time, Elmer enjoyed fishing, boating, and spending his summers in Atlantic City with relatives and friends. He was a passionate fan of Philadelphia sports. Above all, he treasured spending time with his family and will always be remembered for his love and devotion to them. Elmer was always on the go and his advice was "let's get this squared away".
