Joan could do it all and she did it all well: cook, sew, crochet, knit, needle point, quilting and scrapbook, she was very crafty. Keeping a nice home was important too. Joan enjoyed parties and entertaining. She ran a daycare out of her home for years, she loved children.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer R. Confair Jr.: brothers Donald Older, Charles Older, Phil Older, and Walter Stevens. She is survived by her loving children, Scott Schaeffer (Melissa), Kimberly Boyne, Karyn Chatmon (Andre), Jim Confair, Michael Confair (Elizabeth), and Grandchildren, Nicholas, Tyler, Shane, Sydney, Sabrina, Milton, and Maisie, Lauren and Michael. Great Grandchildren, MIkayla and Avery. God daughter Leanna and a host of nieces and nephews,cousins family and friends: special mentions Jackie, Marty and Pat.
